Hi, I'm Desiree the founder and creative force behind Desired Events LLC.

Long before this became a business, I was known as the friend who went all out for every celebration. Whether it was family gatherings, birthdays, or special occasions for friends, I found joy in transforming ordinary moments into unforgettable experiences through themed décor, thoughtful details, and creative touches. What started as a passion quickly became a calling.

Creativity has always been a part of who I am. From a young age, I loved making arts and crafts, designing, decorating, and finding new ways to bring ideas to life. Decorating became my way of expressing creativity and creating joy for others. As my talent and passion grew, I knew I wanted to turn that love into something more meaningful.

To further my knowledge and skills, I completed an Event Planning certification through the New York Institute of Art and Design and earned my Bachelors in Business Marketing. This combination of creativity and business expertise allows me to thoughtfully plan, design, and execute events that are both beautiful and well-organized.

One of the things that makes Desired Events truly unique is my extensive background in childcare. As a professional nanny for over 13 years, with additional experience working in schools and serving as an art teacher in a Montessori setting, I have developed a deep understanding of children's needs, creativity, and the importance of creating environments where they feel engaged, safe, and celebrated. This experience has not only strengthened my ability to design imaginative, child-friendly themed events, but also inspired the creation of our Event Nannying Services. Whether providing on-site childcare during weddings and special events or curating interactive experiences for young guests, I offer families peace of mind knowing their children are in the hands of a trusted childcare professional. My goal is to ensure that both children and parents can fully enjoy life's special moments while creating meaningful memories together.

Today, I bring that childhood dream to life by offering themed photoshoot experiences designed around each client's vision. Whether you choose my in-home studio setup or prefer that I transform your own space into a customized photo experience, I provide thoughtfully styled backdrops, themed props, holiday sessions, and personalized details that create beautiful keepsakes and lasting memories.
